U.S. Elite Mixed Martial Arts MMA Program

 

The Muay Thai/MMA program is a structured workout teaching you Traditional Muay Thai Kickboxing techniques directly from Thailand as well as many practical self defense techniques and ground defense. Muay Thai is referred to as "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art. The workouts are intense, involving punching focus pads, kicking thick shields, and getting you in the best shape of your life. No Forms-Only Techniques.

About Muay Thai
The national sport of Thailand is unquestionable the most effective form of stand up fighting in the world. The entire body is utilized as a weapon. Elbows, knees, fists, shins, forearms and feet are trained and developed for the use as weapons offensively and defensively in this ancient form of Martial Art.

Muay Thai has only recently become highly acclaimed and recognized for the many attributes and benefits gained through the high intensity work out secessions formerly used exclusively to train professional fighters. It is safe, fun, and mentally challenging to both the athletic and non-athletic, male and female, ages 14 to 70 years.

About Grappling/ Jiu-Jitsu

BJJ focuses on grappling or ground fighting. It is based on the principle that a smaller and weaker person will be more likely to survive against a bigger, stronger assailant by ‘taking the fight’ to the ground and using techniques based on leverage and body mechanics (e.g., joint locks and choke holds) to defeat the attacker.

In its self defense application, BJJ emphasizes survival first and defeating the opponent (by submission) second. Because it is based on grappling techniques via leverage rather than striking and over reliance on speed and body strength, BJJ is an ideal martial art for both women and men of all ages regardless of their physical size or athletic abilities.
